new_sodQ-How can I schedule a meeting and design session with Plant Lady Designs?

A- Please contact us!

Phone: 910-368-9029

Q-Do you charge for the initial landscaping consultation?

A-No, we do not charge for the initial meeting with you.

Q-How do I take care of my new landscape once it's installed?
A- Once we have installed everything, we will write a maintenance plan for you.  This will help you to:

  • Water and feed your plants at the right time
  • Prune trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and health
  • Be aware of pest and disease problems that might occur
  • Keep your annual and perennial flowers blooming and growing
  • Maintain a healthy lawn

Q-Do you offer garden maintenance contracts?

A-We do offer some garden maintenance options.  We have a full tree and shrub care program, including pruning, pest and disease identification, and mulching.  Plant Lady Designs can provide seasonal garden, lawn and landscape care such as: pruning, fertilizing, planting, pest and disease control, mulching, and irrigation repair.

Q- How long will it take to install my new landscape?palm
A- It all depends on what has to be done. If it's a new landscape that includes a watering system (irrigation) and building new garden and landscape, with a finishing touch of installing sod, a project can take two weeks from start to finish.

Q-Can we do part of the work ourselves?
A-Yes, we will do as much or as little as you like. No job is too large or too small.  We can prepare a design that you use to plant your landscape, or we can work with you from the initial design phase through complete planting and finishing.

Q-I live at the beach. What types of plants grow here?
A- There are a variety of North Carolina native plants, and other plants that are well-adapted to surviving salt spray, high winds, and temperature changes found at the beach.  Please see our Plant Info page for more information about plants that work well in our area.
